Maleficent's power is very powerful but can be tricky to use.

When you trigger her power, like all time based powers, the background will change to indicate that her power is active. In Maleficent's case the background changes to a darker more sinister color with barbed vines.

While her power is active, when you clear a chain of Tsums all of the Tsums surrounding that chain will be cleared also. This means you don't want to activate her power unless there are chains of Tsums waiting to be cleared.

Also, like most powerful Tsums you have to clear a lot of Maleficent Tsums to power her up, in her case you have to clear 23 to power up her power.
