Happy Halloween 2016 Event Information
The Happy Halloween event for the International version of the game is here! We have put together this page to help explain the event and give some helpful tips and tricks about how to win the event!
To start the event you have to select the event "card". This is done the same way as selecting a Bingo card by pressing the cards button in the lower left hand corner of the Weekly Ranking Screen. Once you click that if you are currently playing a bingo card you can click the button in the lower left that says "Happy Halloween" to switch to the event card. Once you do that, if you haven't already started the event card you need to click the big Start Button on the card. There will be 20 different cards during the event. Each card is a pumpkin you have to fill up with treats, once you have filled the pumpkin you have completed that card and move to the next. The event will end the night of October 31st. When you complete each card you will get a prize.
When you play games during the event, some magic bubbles will be "Pumpkin Bubbles" instead of regular ones. When you pop these bubbles you will get a candy to add to your pumpkin!
Sometimes when you pop a Pumpkin Bubble you will get a party invitation. You don't do anything with it; however, once the regular game ends, if you got an invitation, a special bonus round will start.
The Bonus round is basically a normal game; however, instead of Tsums there will be candies to clear. You have 10 seconds to clear as many candies as you can (you clear them like you would normally clear Tsums but connecting like candies together). You will get a candy for your pumpkin for every candy you clear so this is a great way to get a lot of candies quickly!
If you use ones of the new Halloween Tsum Tsums you will get a bonus to the number of candies you get in the game. The bonus is different for each of the Tsums.
- Cat Hat Minnie: 100% bonus
- Horn Hat Mickey: ~46% bonus
- Ghost Dale: ~77% bonus
- Pumpkin Chip: ~77% bonus
There are a total of 20 Pumpkins to fill with candy. You need more and more candy to fill each Pumpkin as you progress through the event. Once you have filled all 20 Pumpkins you are done the event and will get an event pin.
Happy Halloween 2016 Event Tips and Tricks
Overall the event is more straight forward than the Bingo cards since you just have to keep doing the same thing instead of having different missions. Here are some tips to help win the event eaiser:
- Use Horn Hat Mickey, Cat Hat Minnie, Pumpkin Chip, or Ghost Dale as MyTsum to get the candy bonus
- Each bubble has a chance to be a Pumpkin Bubble so it is better to create lots of 8 Tsum chains instead of fewer longer chains since this will mean less bubbles and the more Tsums in the chain the better the chance you will get one of the other bubbles instead of a Pumpkin Bubble
