The first event for the North American version of the game, Spider-Man: Protect New York from the darkness, is here! We have put together this page to help explain the event and give some helpful tips and tricks about how to win the event!

To play the event you need to go to the special event "Stage". You get there from the Stage Screen where a red planet will appear above the regular stage planets and next to the Hellicarrier

Once you have selected the event stage you will see a normal looking stage screen. There will be two extra progress indicators. One keeps track of your event points and the other keeps track of how many times you have defeated Venom (more about both of these below). Clicking on the button that says "Spider-Man Event" with the Spider-Man Tsum on it will take you to the Event Reward Menu (more about this below as well)

Each stage has 10 missions; however, there are only two types of missions. Almost all the missions will be Defeat the Symbiote missions. These are fairly regular games with one difference. During the game little black Symbiote blobs will show up randomly on the game screen. These won't do anything except cover part of the screen and move around. They will eventually disappear if you don't defeat them. You defeat them by hitting them with bombs or your leader's skill. You will get 10 event points for each Symbiote you clear in the game.

As you complete stages you will move onto another 10 mission event stage. The different stages are basically the same; however, the time of day will change. Once you are in a "Night" stage screen Venom will be more likely to appear

Occasionally, as you move through the event Stage, Venom will appear somewhere ahead. He has a timer so you need to get to him before the timer expires.

Once you get to Venom you will need defeat him in battle. For the Japanese version of this event Venom had different levels of difficulty. The more difficult, the more points you would get when you defeat him. We have not verified yet if the same is true for this version of the event or if he is always the same difficulty and you always get 200 points. We will update this once we get further in the event.

There are two ways to get rewards in this event. The first are rewards you can buy with your event points. The rewards including coins, Tsum Experience Booster, Orbs, and every type of ISO. The max number of points you can have at once is 9999 so be sure to buy prizes before you get to the max or you won't get any more points from playing. There are limits to how many times you can buy each reward.

• 50 Points - 500 Booster (Unlimited)
• 150 Points - 10 Yellow Iso-8 (x15)
• 200 Points - 10 Pink Iso-8 (x15)
• 250 Points - 300 Coin 3000 (x15)
• 250 Points - 1 Violet Iso-8 (x30)
• 300 Points - 1 White Iso-8 (x30)
• 1000 Points - 1 Red Iso-8 (x10)
• 1000 Points - 1 Green Iso-8 (x10)
• 1000 Points - 1 Blue Iso-8 (x10)
• 2500 Points - 5 Orbs (x3)

You get the 2nd way to get rewards is by defeating Venom a certain number of times. These include:

• 1 Time - Booster x 2000
• 3 Times - +Bomb Ticket
• 5 Times - 5 Orbs
• 7 Times - 2 +Large Tickets
• 10 Times - 5 Orbs
• 15 Times - 3 5->4 Tickets
• 20 Times - 5 Orbs

If you use one of the Spider-Verse characters you will get a bonus to the points you earn by defeating Symbiotes and Venom. Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, and Silk give you a 50% bonus. Spider-Man gives you a 20%? bonus.

Overall the event is pretty straightforward. You just play the event stage, defeat Symbiotes and Venom when he appears, collect points, and then buy items with your points.

• Use Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman, Silk, or Spider-Man as your Leader for the bonus points
• Use War Machine or Rocket Raccoon on your team for their Bomb generating ability
• Make sure you spend your points before you get to 9999 points so you don't miss out on any points you earn
