The Disney Vinyl Tsum Tsum Advent calendar is starting to show up and stores and we take a look at what it contains (warning: Spoilers about the contents in the post)
First lets take a look at the front and back of the box:
The Calendar has 24 doors, one for each day of December leading up to Christmas. It includes a total of 6 Large Tsum Tsums (with Holiday Headbands), 6 Medium Tsum Tsums (the box says in Holiday Attire but that isn't completely accurate), 6 Small Tsum Tsums, and 6 Holiday Accessories.
So now lets start taking a look at what is inside each day!
Day 1: A Medium Joy... sadly nothing holiday themed about her
Day 2: A Small Tinker Bell
Day 3: A Christmas Cookie Accessory
Day 4: Large Sven with a removable Reindeer Headband
Day 5: Medium Christmas Mickey
Day 6: Gingerbread Sleigh
Day 7: Large Baloo with removable (and connectable) Reindeer headband
Day 8: Small Dory
Day 9: Medium Lilo (again just regular)
Day 10: Christmas Present Accessory
Day 11: Small Peter Pan
Day 12: Large Sulley with removable (and connectable) Reindeer headband
Day 13: Medium Christmas Minnie
Day 14: Small Stitch
Day 15: Large Alien with removable Reindeer headband
Day 16: Another Christmas Present Accessory
Day 17: Large Zero with removable (and connectable) Reindeer headband
Day 18: Small Belle
Day 19: Medium Jessie (again regular)
Day 20: Small Nick Wilde
Day 21: Santa's Sack Accessory
Day 22: Christmas Cake Accessory
Day 23: Medium Rapunzel (regular)
Day 24: Large Dumbo with removable Reindeer headband
Before making comments here are a few pictures of the unique accessories with Tsum Tsums:
Ok, so thoughts about this Advent Calendar. If you haven't been collecting the Vinyl Tsum Tsums and didn't get last year's Vinyl Advent calendar then it is pretty good with a good variety of characters and cute Holiday themed accessories; however, it does contain a lot of "regular" Tsum Tsums that have previous been available. Even the Christmas Mickey and Minnie were in last year's calendar. Some of the accessories are cute and the connectable reindeer headbands are a nice addition; however, some of the others (Christmas Present and cookie) are repeats from last year as well.
Overall I think there should have been more variety and new stuff given the cost. Last year at least all the mediums were Christmas themed (and they hadn't been released previously), all the accessories/headbands were new too so it was more worth it, and the Small sized Tsum Tsums were covered in glitter making them a little more unique too.
While this is a cute calendar and definitely a fun thing to get for Tsum Tsum fans there isn't enough unique about it to make it stand out.
